Well-social is a brand discovery platform that explores the mindfulness behind a carefully curated selection of products. Here’s what you need to know about us...
It’s easy to buy a product and not think much about where it came from or what broader impact it has on the world at large. But the truth is every choice we make as consumers impacts not only our well-being but the well-being of other people and the health of the planet. If you care about the deeper impact your consumer habits have on the world, you might be curious to learn more about well-social—a brand discovery platform that presents you with sustainable brands that are good for the planet and everything on it.
From Mad Hippie to New Highs, Ritual, Highborn, and even more, well-social brings you a selection of quality self-care brands that you can trust to have a positive impact in your life and beyond. We value transparency from our brand partners and take care in presenting these brands in a way that lets you learn about products and the story behind the products, with a big emphasis on sustainability and social consciousness. Find our full list of brand partners here.
Each brand we work with is a certified B Corporation or working toward B Corporation status.
To qualify as a B Corp, a brand must meet high standards of “verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability.” These brands balance profit and purpose, considering how their business decisions impact customers, workers, the environment, suppliers, and the community. The idea is that B Corps can act as a force for good in the world by redefining what it means to be a successful business. You can find more information on the assessments and legal requirements for becoming a B Corp here.
CEO and founder Hilary Vartanian was inspired to create well-social through her work as a certified health coach, but she has a long history of success in the business world. Previously, she held corporate management positions at leading companies like Time Inc. and Condé Nast, was the first female Vice President for Fortune Conferences, and started a management consultancy that develops global brand partnerships and events for top tier companies.
Aside from helping to connect you with brands you can comfortably get behind, we also love bringing people together. Every other Wednesday we host an event series in partnership with Luminary called “well-social Wednesday,” where we share self-care strategies that benefit people and the planet. Later this month we’ll be hosting “The 4 Crisis Types & How to Find Opportunity a fireside chat with Laura Day and Cate Luzio”. If you’re interested in joining us, you can find more information here.
